Applications: Engine: Connecting Rods

Welcome to the Connecting Rods page

Connecting rod temperatures are challenging to measure, but our lightweight, durable transmitters are routinely mounted to the rod and send multi-channel thermocouple data to a stationary receiver.

Wireless measurement of connecting rod strain and other data is accurate and reliable with IR Telemetrics, the technology leader in providing wireless data transfer from internal combustion engines, automotive transmissions, or other harsh environments.

Oil flow through connecting rods and crankshafts can be measured accurately using our proprietary oil flow transducer system. We install a small positive displacement transducer on oil passageways, along with our wireless telemetry systems to send data to our receivers.

Wireless transmission of temperature and pressure data from the connecting rods is reliable and accurate using IR Telemetrics technology. The connecting rod wireless transmission sends real time pressure and temperature data from hostile environments like engines.
